About Freifall

Freifall is a Vienna-based, artist-led association working at the intersection of contemporary circus, choreography, performance and interdisciplinary artistic practices.

Founded and artistically directed by Verena Schneider, Freifall provides a framework for artistic creation, experimentation and collaboration. Its projects unfold through changing constellations of artists, disciplines and perspectives, exploring new relationships between bodies, materials, spaces and environments.

Moving between stage productions, interdisciplinary performances, installations and site-responsive practices, Freifall embraces diverse artistic approaches and ways of working.

Through local and international collaborations, the association seeks to foster artistic exchange, develop long-term relationships and create space for new artistic perspectives and forms of expression.
