Alexander Iwanov works in the fields of performing and visual arts as an artist and curator. He studied Physical Theatre at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri in the Italian part of Switzerland. After his studies he worked as a performer and theatre maker in Berlin, Brussels and Gent for a few years. In 2018 and 2019 he was working as a clown doctor for Red Noses Austria. At that time he also studied „Curating in the performing arts“ at the Paris Lodron University Salzburg and at the LMU Munich. He is currently working in Innsbruck and Vienna for VIENNALE, Verein Freifall and for Kunstraum Innsbruck. In 2020 he received the grant „Startstipendium for becoming cultural managers“.
